Position summary
Site Financial Controller to establish strong financial governance and act as a trusted partner to the business for Sales and Service Center. This role will be responsible for financial control, planning, forecasting, reporting and performance analysis, ensuring robust financial stewardship and disciplined execution.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Financial Governance and Business Partnering
- Establish and maintain strong financial controls and governance across the site.
- Partner with business leaders to provide financial insight, challenge assumptions and support achievement of key performance indicators.
- Drive financial stewardship, margin discipline and cost management.
Planning, Forecasting and Performance Management
- Lead the annual budget and monthly forecasting process covering revenue, margins, operating expenses, free cash flow and net working capital.
- Gather inputs from stakeholders and provide analytical insight to improve forecast accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Perform monthly analysis of revenue performance, working capital, cost variances, margins and KPIs.
- Identify and explain key variances between actual and plan and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare and submit weekly free cash flow forecasts and track weekly and monthly variances against plan.
Reporting and Service Governance
- Execute quarterly intercompany charge outs in line with group timelines and policies.
- Review and update Service Level Agreements on a regular basis to ensure alignment and compliance.
Operational Finance and Continuous Improvement
- Prepare the annual service man hour rate to support pricing and quoting activities.
- Conduct financial feasibility studies and support strategic and operational finance projects.
- Act as a catalyst for continuous improvement of financial and operational processes.
Project Management
- Lead and participate in Finance Projects as assigned with clear line of Authority, Responsibility and Deliverables
Position Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline. Professional qualification preferred.
- Proven experience in financial controlling, planning and analysis within a complex or growing business environment.
- Strong business partnering capability with the confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, forecasting and financial modelling skills.
- Experience working in a Sales and Service or project driven environment is advantageous.
- High level of integrity, ownership and attention to detail.
