Role Introduction
This role is responsible for executing member engagement strategy and activation initiatives to strengthen participation, activity, and loyalty of Cathay members, particularly in the Greater Bay Area and Chinese mainland.
Working closely with the Assistant Manager Member Recruitment & Engagement, the role supports the delivery of engagement campaigns, lifecycle journeys, and take initiatives to enhance members’ value perception and long-term loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
Member Engagement & Activation
- Execute member engagement strategies to increase member activity, participation, and programme interaction.
- Support the design and delivery of digital and offline engagement campaigns, including lifestyle, travel, and partner propositions.
- Implement multi‑channel member journeys (eDM, app, CRM, on‑ground touchpoints) to activate different member segments, including new joiners and existing members.
- Support optimisation of onboarding and early‑life engagement journeys to drive activation and repeat interaction.
- Assist in executing initiatives to enhance emotional affinity and loyalty among members.
Campaign Execution & Operations
- Work with internal stakeholders and external agencies to execute engagement campaigns according to agreed timelines and mechanics.
- Manage campaign execution using marketing technology and CRM platforms, ensuring data accuracy and quality control.
- Support campaign setup, audience segmentation, bonus crediting, and other database marketing operations. Set campaign mechanics, forecast and KPIs.
- Track campaign performance and prepare post‑campaign reports to evaluate effectiveness and identify optimisation opportunities.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate with CRR GBA teams, Chinese Mainland teams, Marketing, CX, and other internal stakeholders to deliver engagement initiatives.
- Liaise with agencies, media partners, and vendors for campaign execution and material development.
- Support cross‑functional coordination to ensure consistent member experience across channels.
Requirements
- University degree in business administration, marketing, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in CRM, loyalty programmes, member engagement, or digital marketing.
- Analytically focused yet creatively wired to create engaging marketing campaigns.
- Experience in member acquisition & digital marketing. Able to manage agencies and vendors.
- In depth understanding of CRM loyalty marketing. Understand the key drivers of loyalty and the behaviour implication across the membership life cycle
- Customer-centric mind-set and comfortable with analytics.
- Strong skills in organization, detail oriented, and adapt to a dynamic working environment.
- Highly organised, able to work independently and can make decisions independently.
- Good interpersonal and communications skills.
