Role Introduction
Drive the operational delivery of a major transformation within Cathay Cargo as we implement our next-generation Network Revenue Management System (NRMS). Working at the intersection of cargo revenue management, technology, and business operations, you will help embed advanced optimization models that support inventory management, hurdle rate optimization, oversell thresholds, and space allocation for ad-hoc bookings.
You will act as the key link between cargo business stakeholders, live revenue analysts, and the solution provider, translating commercial requirements into practical operating processes. From validating system logic and redesigning workflows to running user acceptance testing, parallel operations, and deployment activities, you will play a hands-on role in ensuring the new platform delivers operational value and aligns with Cathay Cargo’s commercial rules.
This is a role for someone who enjoys solving complex business challenges, analysing performance data, and guiding change across teams. Your work will help establish new ways of working and support the successful adoption of a system that will influence how Cathay Cargo manages revenue and capacity across its network.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the solution provider to review, validate, and refine inventory management and hurdle rate optimization logic to ensure alignment with Cathay Cargo commercial requirements
- Lead the redesign of target operating models by defining future workflows, team responsibilities, and cross-functional processes
- Author and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) that support operational consistency and stakeholder alignment
- Manage end-to-end user acceptance testing (UAT) activities and coordinate testing plans across business and solution teams
- Execute advanced testing scenarios, including disruption-based simulations, to validate system performance under varying operational conditions
- Audit live analyst decisions against system-generated recommendations and identify technical, mathematical, or process-related discrepancies
- Analyse testing and operational data to support issue resolution, system validation, and implementation readiness
- Adapt vendor-provided training materials into operational guidance and user documentation for Cathay Cargo teams
- Deliver and support classroom-based training activities to drive user readiness and adoption ahead of phased implementation

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, Data Analytics, or another analytical discipline
- Minimum of 3–6 years of professional experience in project management, business analysis, or commercial operational planning

- Proven ability to design target operating models, develop standard operating procedures, and support organizational change management initiatives
- Demonstrated experience managing structured business validation frameworks, user acceptance testing execution, regression testing, or software data reconciliation activities
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with third-party vendors, commercial cargo teams, and operational analysts.
