Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is currently looking for a 2D / 3D Drafter with 7 to 10 years of experience, to fill a contract position in Forest Park, GA. JOB REQUIREMENTS The Drafter 3 position requires 7-10 years of drafting experience. An associate’s degree in drafting and design is preferred. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Job responsibilities include working with 2D and 3D CAD to develop models and/or 2D drawings based on information provided by designers and engineers Revising existing 2D drawings to support plant retrofit projects Supporting with plant-site walkdowns to obtain field data and dimensional information for design purposes. SKILLSETS and EXPERTISE Experience using CAD software and design tools Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication Knowledge of engineering design principles and standards Ability to lead a small project Commitment to quality, safety, and design excellence Ability to build effective relationships with plant staff, design engineering staff and/or vendors. This position may require some bending, lifting, climbing, prolonged sitting, prolonged walking, walking on gravel or crawling when necessary.
