Soft Goods / Fashion Designer Johnson Service Group (JSG) is actively searching for a Soft Goods / Fashion Designer for our client’s Atlanta, GA area operation. The position is a long-term contract role and a fantastic opportunity to join a Fortune 500 industry leader. The Soft Goods / Fashion Designer will work with teams to create and develop designs for new products and provide support for updating existing products when required. You will take responsibility for managing your own workload to ensure deadlines are quality standards are met. Utilizing a broad creative skillset, you will define aspects of form, aesthetics and the interfaces between users and products. Pay: 30-33/hr. BOE Qualifications: 3+ years soft goods / fashion design experience working with cross functional teams BA/BS or equivalent in Fashion/Apparel/Textile design Ability to draft and drape patterns to develop prototypes and refine for manufacture Strong conceptual, 2D visualization (sketching) and communication/presentation skills, the ability to develop patterns for technical fit and sew prototypes Cut, sew and construct prototypes using industrial sewing equipment and accepted sewing manufacturing techniques Organizational skills, effective time management skills, aggressive drive for performance, and extremely high levels of personal accountability are required Ability to manage multiple projects at one time and meet required deadlines Working knowledge of computer aided design systems, preferably AutoCAD Working knowledge of managing specifications in a Product Lifecycle Management system Excellent communication, interpersonal, writing, planning, and presentation skills and demonstrated the ability to lead by direct control and influence for positive business outcomes Qualified Candidates Should Apply Now
