Delta Material Services requires a highly skilled
Foundry Data Analyst to support complex analytics and digital transformation initiatives.
This role will be responsible for translating complex business processes into scalable, ontology-based, business-aware digital representations that enable operational intelligence, workflow automation, business observability, and cross domain analytics. The ideal candidate will combine deep expertise in data architecture, semantic modeling, ontology design, operational systems, data engineering, and Palantir Foundry capabilities.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Delta IT application teams, Foundry administrator, the DMS HANA team, business stakeholders, and user champions to develop and govern a strategic DMS enterprise ontology while advancing the organization’s data and analytics capabilities. The role reports directly to the DMS Director of Enterprise applications.
As a Foundry Data Analyst, You Will
- Conduct requirements-gathering sessions and working meetings with business SMEs and stakeholders to define analytical, operational, and reporting requirements.
- Design, develop, and maintain business-aware Ontology models and ontology-based business objects within Palantir Foundry.
- Provide hands-on leadership and technical expertise in Palantir Foundry, including Contour, Quiver, Workshop, and the development of Ontology-based semantic data models that drive business insights and data-informed decision-making.
- Leverage advanced proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL to per
- form complex data engineering, transformation, wrangling, and analytics, delivering scalable solutions to solve critical business challenges.
- Architect, develop, optimize, and support robust ETL/ELT pipelines, data workflows, and code repositories, ensuring high-performance, scalable, and reliable data solutions that meet enterprise reporting and analytical requirements.
- Apply best practices in data governance, including data lineage, data quality management, master data management (MDM), and compliance frameworks to ensure the accuracy, consistency, traceability, and integrity of enterprise data assets.
- Support the development and maintenance of enterprise ontology standards, business definitions, and data relationships to enable operational intelligence, consistent reporting, and cross-functional analytics across DMS operations.
- Analyze and integrate cross-functional business data across sales, purchasing, repairs, inventory management, warehouse operations, aircraft and engine technical records, and supply chain processes for Delta and third-party customers.
- Monitor trends, identify anomalies and root causes, and deliver actionable insights that drive proactive decision-making and continuous operational improvement.
- Collaborate with data owners across SAP, Salesforce, and Delta TechOps operational systems to integrate, validate, and harmonize data, enabling trusted analytics, operational intelligence, and data-driven decision-making.
- Work closely with Delta TechOps Palantir, Delta IT, and data engineering teams to ensure scalable data pipelines are developed, monitored, and maintained within Foundry, providing governed and analytics-ready data.
- Drive the development of Foundry applications, operational dashboards, and decision-support solutions that deliver actionable insights and business value.
- Evaluate and support the implementation of advanced analytics, AI/ML, and automation capabilities within the Foundry platform to solve complex operational challenges.
- Support data quality, documentation, and solution validation activities in accordance with established standards and governance practices.
- Support analytics priorities, roadmaps, milestones, and success metrics aligned with DMS strategic initiatives.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation, sales effectiveness, and operational efficiency.
- Stay current on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and advancements in analytics, AI, ontology modeling, and the Palantir Foundry platform.
- Communicate analytical findings, recommendations, and business impacts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in enterprise data analytics, business intelligence, data management, or a related analytical role.
- Demonstrated expertise building applications and solutions within Palantir Foundry (or similar platforms), including Workshop, Ontology, Pipeline Builder, and data integration frameworks
- Understanding of data lineage, data quality management, master data management, and governance frameworks.
- Experience analyzing and integrating data from multiple business domains, operational systems, and analytical platforms.
- Working knowledge of developing applications and analytical solutions within Palantir Foundry, including Workshop, Ontology, Pipeline Builder, and data integration frameworks.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.
- Experience translating ambiguous business needs into technical requirements and actionable analytical solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work from the Atlanta office in an on-site capacity.

- Led the successful delivery of projects utilizing Palantir Foundry capabilities, including Ontology, Workshop, Pipeline Builder, Contour, and operational applications, enabling advanced data integration, analytics, and business process automation.
- Experience collaborating with data engineering teams to support data integration, pipeline development, monitoring, and data quality initiatives.
- Experience working with SAP, Salesforce, and large-scale operational systems.
- Knowledge of aviation, airline operations, supply chain management, materials management, maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO), inventory management, and logistics business processes.
- Knowledge of ontology-driven analytics, graph-based data modeling, and semantic technologies.
- Palantir Foundry certifications or equivalent platform experience preferred.
