Job Description:
We are looking for an HR Operations & Staffing Deputy Manager to drive operations and staffing for Strategic business projects supporting Customer Services & Helicopters businesses. The incumbent will drive HR Operations & Staffing for the Airbus Training Center, JV Company. In addition will also contribute to the H125 Helicopters organization by addressing our HR mission critical priorities - such as hiring and developing a strong leadership pipeline, and enabling HR operations. The incumbent will interact with peers and senior leadership within and outside of HR, and will get a wide variety of experience and exposure across key strategic initiatives. This position requires a balance of analytical, detail-oriented work as well as strategic problem solving and program execution. It requires effective communication and project management skills in order to drive consistent HR operations and processes across the organization. This position is consultative as well as tactical.
Key Responsibilities:
Provides centralized HR shared services consultation to Airbus India Training Centre JV Company. Will closely collaborate with Airbus COE’s and the wider HR community to drive results in partnership with them. Will be the SPOC for HR SLA adherence.
Works with the business & HRBP of the JVC to develop recruitment strategies and processes to enable efficient & effective recruitment.
Manage and implement HR projects and monitor work transitions following the established HR SLA framework.
Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional clients/stakeholders to identify scope, track and monitor, transition timeline, risk mitigation strategy, roles and responsibilities, and other requirements (capacity, reporting, training, governance).
Manage the HR Operations, coordinate HR change requests and process interventions, policy alignments and prioritization.
Create, maintain, and monitor relevant project documentation, contracts, materials, and reports in centralized HR Operations project files.
In addition to above, the incumbent will also manage Staffing needs including talent pipelining for Commercial, Services, Helicopters, Integrated Functions mid- senior hiring in partnership with HRBL Delhi.
Eligibility Criteria:
10+ years’ experience in Human Resources, preferably in an HR Operations/ Recruitment role
Prior experience in Aviation industry is preferable
Ability to pitch to Leadership, should have executive communication skills and presence.
Project management skills with ability to track and lead concurrent project timelines, resource allocations, and critical milestones
Strong PowerPoint skills with ability to succinctly tell the story of the data and use visualization to convey the message
Quick and avid learner – able to quickly process and synthesize information; curious and willing to roll up your sleeves and dive into unknown
Proactive Self-starter - able to take initiative to solve problems while knowing when to ask questions and leverage others; always thinking one step ahead
Strong stakeholder management & Collaborative – work well with anyone from analysts to senior leaders, strong interpersonal skills and client orientation.
Demonstrated HR domain and functional knowledge, with good understanding of HR processes, policies, and systems, is essential to effectively manage projects.
Sound, deep, and proven expertise in the HR operational space ensures that projects are not only well-coordinated but also delivered with practical insights that drive meaningful and sustainable outcomes.
