IT Project Manager

Rolls-Royce offers an excellent opportunity for an IT Project Manager within Group IT. The Engineering and Manufacturing Team is an IT delivery focused team supporting the needs of the engineering and manufacturing operations communities. In this role you will provide leadership to a delivery team consisting of subject matter experts, business analysts, business representatives and vendor resources to plan and execute the delivery of IT solutions.

Key Accountabilities:
- Ensure clarity of scope and high-level deliverables managing project changes through the formal change control process
- Utilize common project management practices and metrics to manage project delivery within budget and targeted time frames providing accurate and timely cost forecasting
- Develop and maintain end-to-end project plans working with business representatives to ensure business readiness and project support
- Manage the project risks and escalations for resources, decisions, information, and vendor performance
- Communicate project status to IT and business stakeholders
Basic Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in IT or Engineering and 7+ years of experience in IT or Engineering, OR
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or Engineering and 5+ years of experience in IT or Engineering, OR
- Master’s degree in IT or Engineering and 3+ years of experience in IT or Engineering, OR
- JD/PhD in IT or Engineering, OR
- 9+ years of experience in IT or Engineering in lieu of a degree
- PMI certification or equivalent
- In order to be eligible for consideration for this opportunity, you must be a U.S. Citizen
Preferred Requirements:
- Prior project management experience in both agile & waterfall delivery
- Manage engineering / manufacturing IT
- Experience leading and working in a global business environment and managing distributed teams (including vendors)
- Able to communicate at all levels and manage complex stakeholder networks

Hybrid working is a way in which our people can balance their time between the office, home or another remote location. It’s a locally managed and flexed informal discretionary arrangement.
