Position Summary
The position is to assisting Duty Manager, Warehouse Handling in managing day to day activities and operational matters at OPCC Operations Control Centre and Warehouse Handling, to resolve issues on daily operations .
Key Accountabilities
- To monitor and manage the overall daily activities of cargo operations in MAB Advanced Cargo Centre (ACC) to always ensure smooth operations and provide assistance to ops stations.
- To ensure all communication on cargo handling enquiries, requests, complaints, instructions to staff, customers and line stations are properly handled.
- To manage and provide immediate solutions to any irregularities or service failures relating to cargo operations during duty hours.
- Attend to agent and customers inquiries and needs.
- Attend to action on all incoming telexes and emails from stations and customer airlines pertaining to operation issues.
- Perform immediate recovery action on the mishandling cases.
- Monitor and update trucking movement.
- To ensure cargo operations warehouse activities meet quality and safety requirements.
- To coordinate with relevant parties to maximise build up payload at warehouse and airside and meet the specified service standards.
- Provide report as per required by management.
- Attend operation meeting as and when required.
- Ensure supervise, monitor and report on safety and security related issues.
- Perform other tasks assign by superior.
- Ensure cleanliness of work area.
- Always comply with safety and security.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in Cargo Operations or related Warehouse Handling for SPM/SPMV/DVM holder
- Must have Basic DGR and certified
- Must have Basic Cargo Handling and certified
- Must attended SeMS and SMS
- Minimum 1 year in Cargo Operations for Diploma holder or higher
- Minimum 5 years in Cargo Operations for MCE holder
Areas of Experience
- Knowledge in cargo system / CWS system.
- Pleasant with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluent and proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Knowledge in handling of Cargo
