Position Summary
To plan and execute the Build-Up of the booked cargo according to the booking lists (Flight Dispo) and ensure maximization of space for Narrow Body, Wide Body and Freighter Aircraft he position exist, with what objectives and within what limit)
Key Accountabilities
- Perform build-up planning for assigned flights based on the Load Plan provided by the Reservation department representative.
- Oversee build-up activities, ensuring Vendor performance and warehouse safety.
- Coordinate with ULD Logistics regarding empty ULDs.
- Inform Supervisor of any Vendor shortages affecting build-up.
- Monitor Vendor build-up activities.
- Ensure Vendor build-up complies with safety and quality standards.
- Take necessary actions to complete ULD build-up within SLA.
- Optimize ULD build-up to ensure timely handover to the Ramp.
- Review pre-planning (DISPO) for accuracy.
- Provide handover guidance to clerks (Vendor).
- Conduct final quality checks on ULDs built by Vendor.
- Prepare flight service files and maintain documentation.
- Perform clerk and driver duties during contingencies.
- Liaise with Reservations as required.
- Capture photos of key or damaged shipments.
- Maximize cargo space utilization and authorize uplift of booked cargo.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and security requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum SPM/SPMV, DVM or Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Aviation Management, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in cargo operations, airline logistics, or warehouse operations
Areas of Experience
- Knowledge in Handling of Cargo
- Knowledge in CMS System / CMS – CWIS System
