Summary Of The Role
As the Manager of the Product Management team, you will guide and support a team of Product Managers, driving the product vision and strategy in alignment with our Universal Distribution vision. You will ensure the successful delivery of products that meet and surpass customer needs. Collaboration with various stakeholders, including Product Managers, R&D teams, Product Marketing Managers, Product Portfolio Managers, and shopping consultancy and support teams, will be essential in aligning the product vision, strategy, and execution. This is a key leadership role where you will have the opportunity to significantly impact the growth and success of AMS. You will have the opportunity to contribute to re-inventing Travel Distribution.
In This Role, You Will
- Lead & Develop the Product Team: Guide, support, and inspire a team of Product Managers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and product management excellence.
- Product Strategy & Vision: Define and lead the overarching product strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market needs.
- Portfolio Management: Oversee the entire product portfolio, balancing short-term goals with long-term vision and ensuring a cohesive product offering.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, and other departments to ensure seamless product development and go-to-market execution.
- Data-Driven Leadership: Utilize data and analytics to inform decision-making, enhance product performance, and continuously improve processes.
- Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicate product updates, progress, and strategy to senior leadership and other key stakeholders.
- Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Encourage a culture of experimentation and continuous learning within the team, consistently seeking ways to enhance our products and processes.
About The Ideal Candidate
- 10+ years of experience in product management or related fields.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Results-oriented with a strong problem-solving mindset.
- Flexible and adaptable, able to succeed in a complex and evolving environment.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
