The owner of the role is responsible for selling e-SIM technologies to the IoT market, specifically within the smart meter vertical in Central Europe. He is responsible for driving sales and building relationships with utility companies, system integrators, and IoT solution providers. He will identify market opportunities, promote the advantages of e-SIM solutions—such as improved connectivity, flexibility, and cost-efficiency—and tailor offerings to meet the specific needs of smart meter deployments. The role involves managing the sales pipeline, negotiating contracts, collaborating with technical teams, and ensuring that the revenue target is achieved.
Description of Key Activities
Within their scope of activities, the IOT Sales Manager is required to:
- Understanding the local ecosystem including utility companies, system integrators, and IoT solution providers and what are their respective strategies and needs
- Defining sales strategy on the territory
- Identify key contacts to be addressed within a target account list
- Promote and offer a portfolio of solutions to meet customer needs.
- Define, lead, and execute a winning strategy.
- Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity identification to deal closing
- Successfully negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales, aligned with expectations, within a complex context.
- Ensure customer satisfaction
- Monitor pipeline management and sales forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with the Ethics Code and Code of Conduct within the framework of the missions above.
- Propose innovative approaches and initiatives and adopt strategic thinking.
