Job Purpose
Support aircraft material planning, forecasting, and inventory coordination to ensure timely availability of parts for maintenance operations. Maintain stock accuracy through data analysis, system updates, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze historical consumption and maintenance schedules to forecast material requirements.
- Maintain BOMs, planning parameters, and MRP data in AMOS or equivalent systems.
- Perform ABC classification, safety stock calculations, and inventory segmentation.
- Track part movements using RFID/barcode systems; reconcile discrepancies across storage points.
- Monitor ASRS retrieval accuracy and coordinate system upgrades with IT.
- Support provisioning for hard-time components, engineering orders, and retrofit programs.
- Coordinate with procurement/logistics for inbound shipments and address delivery delays.
- Prepare dashboards/reports on stock availability, consumption, and forecast accuracy.
- Participate in inventory audits and ensure traceability of serialized/rotatable parts.
- Maintain compliance with DGCA/EASA/FAA inventory guidelines.
- Contribute to process improvement, lean inventory practices, and automation initiatives.
- Update departmental SOPs and assist in digital transformation projects.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Manager.
