Senior Manager – Flex Line (Engineering | MRO – BLR)
Job Purpose
Lead aircraft base maintenance operations across the Flex Line, ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, safety, and delivery quality. Manage multidisciplinary teams and collaborate across functions to meet maintenance and turnaround objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee aircraft induction, dock control, and TAT planning.
- Manage shift schedules, manpower allocation, and operational readiness.
- Lead and mentor Duty Engineers, AMEs, and Technicians.
- Coordinate with Engineering for troubleshooting and reliability improvements.
- Review incident reports, delay reports, and non-routine documentation.
- Maintain audit readiness and support regulatory and customer audits.
- Enforce OSHE and SMS requirements; conduct safety assessments.
- Lead incident investigations and drive corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Planning, Supply Chain, CAMO, and Quality on materials and documentation.
- Manage customer interactions for buybacks, approvals, and delivery milestones.
- Ensure timely task card closure and documentation in AMOS or equivalent.
- Support infrastructure readiness, tool control, and equipment calibration.
- Oversee execution of scheduled/unscheduled maintenance (A, C, D checks).
- Drive operational improvements and digital transformation initiatives.
