Role Introduction
The Assistant Manager Transformation and Growth sits under the Customer Relationship and Retail Department, mainly responsible for partnering with Transformation & Growth Manager for the delivery of Cathay Holidays’ transformation and growth agenda by bridging business strategy, stakeholder alignment, and technology execution. You will also be partnering closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to enable successful platform development, commercial initiatives, and go‑to‑market execution that drive business growth and customer value.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of Cathay Holidays’ transformation and growth agenda, spanning business process redesign, technology enablement, and commercial initiatives, in alignment with agreed strategic priorities
- Partner closely with senior internal stakeholders across business, Digital, Information and Technology, commercial, and operations teams to translate strategic objectives into clearly defined initiatives, scoped deliverables, and executable plans, ensuring alignment on priorities, resourcing, and dependencies
- Lead the coordination of cross‑functional and cross‑vendor workstreams, including requirements definition, platform development, User Acceptance Testing, release planning, and post‑launch follow‑ups, to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and to expected quality standards
- Act as a key interface between external vendors and internal teams, proactively managing timelines, risks, issues, and decision points, and escalating where necessary to drive resolution and maintain delivery momentum
- Lead the planning and execution of product launches, campaigns, and growth initiatives, working with commercial, marketing, and operations partners to ensure readiness across platforms, processes, and customer touchpoints
- Act as a key connector between strategy and execution, ensuring strategic intent is clearly communicated to delivery teams, progress is closely monitored, and outcomes are measured against agreed success criteria
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in delivery approach, ways of working, and cross‑team collaboration, applying structured problem‑solving and project management discipline to enhance execution effectiveness
Requirements
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- 5–7 years of experience in Sales & Marketing, or travel industry
- Experience in commercial strategy, marketing, sales, or product management
- Ability to manage cross-functional projects and campaigns
- Analytical mindset with a focus on customer value propositions
- Background in travel, hospitality, or related industries preferred
