Manager, Corporate Sales JPN

Role Purpose
Responsible for managing and growing sales within the corporate sector in Japan. The role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, building relationships with corporate clients, identifying new business opportunities, and managing a sales team. The Corporate Sales Manager is also responsible for achieving sales targets, providing exceptional customer service, and keeping up-to-date with market trends and competitor activities.
Key Accountability
- Develop and implement a sales strategy to achieve revenue targets for corporate clients in Japan.
- Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve their targets and exceed customer expectations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the corporate sector, including C-level executives, HR managers, and procurement teams.
- Identify new business opportunities within the corporate sector, including new clients, verticals, and regions.
- Work closely with the Marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns to drive sales and brand awareness within the corporate sector.
- Monitor sales performance and identify areas for improvement, providing regular feedback and coaching to the team.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience, from initial inquiry through to post-sale support.
- Manage the Corporate Sales budget, ensuring that expenses are in line with revenue targets.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback.
Qualifications & Working Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, or related fields with minimum of 7 years of experience in sales, with a focus on the government sector.
Areas of Experience
- Strong understanding of government procurement processes, including RFPs and other procurement methods.
- Strong understanding of Japan and corporate sector, including business culture, regulatory environment, and market trends.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Results-driven, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and exceeding customer expectations.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
