And our Pricing & Revenue Management team is providing fuel for that journey by ensuring that we maximize our ticket revenue on every single flight across our network – both domestically and internationally – while giving our customers various product offerings for their travel. By analyzing market trends and forecasting consumer demand, this team works hard to ensure we are selling the right number of tickets at the right price to optimize our revenue and run a profitable airline.
Job Overview And Responsibilities
Create and manage pricing structures from the Japan point of sale that maximize revenue for the company, while remaining competitive in the market. Locally enforce pricing and revenue management policies, while exercising functions of revenue integrity to identify speculative or damaging booking behavior by agencies or by groups. Primary Pricing & Revenue Management interface with Sales for pricing activities and setting strategy in the market, while coordinating implementation of pricing and revenue management strategies with Chicago Headquarters. In addition conducts ad-hoc advanced data analysis, creates new fare structures and provide mentorship/coaching to the team.
- Drive fare structure creation, monitoring market pricing activity to stay competitive, initiate review of pricing program performance, coordination of implementation with Chicago Headquarters
- Developing, managing and coordinating discount management structures with pricing analysts, group desk, Asia Sales, PRM HDQ and JV partner adhoc
- Interfacing with Sales to drive, developing advanced strategy & discussing commercial issues
- Developing performance data analysis to help answer PRM business questions for ASIA POO
- Mentorship and coaching of team members as needed

Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience
- 3+ years commercial experience
- Must be legally authorized to work in Japan for any employer without sponsorship
- Must be fluent in English and Japanese (written and spoken)
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
